Gala Night - Photos of Miss Universe Malaysia 2010

A short brief about what's going on. This is Part 1 post. For now, It's the Part 2. As you know that Nadine Ann Thomas, a 23-year old event coordinator, was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2010 on May 15th, yesterday. The 1.69 m beauty will travel to the USA to compete in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant on Aug. 22. Wish her the best of luck.

While the first runner-up went to Mourhrna Anneta Reddy, a Model and Law Graduate while Vera Hui an airstewardess was the 2nd runner up. My personal Favorite, Vera Hui. Though she didn't make it but still im proud of her! Here are photos at the Gala Night yesterday @ Royale Chulan Hotel, KL.


Gala Night Ballroom which looked so grand. As you can see that the stage was superbly wonderful.


This is our table. You can see Moet & Chandon but why there is Marigold HL milk on the table? hmm.


Firstly, Harith Iskandar was the MC for the night. and Andrea Fonseka was giving her speech.


Champagne time. Moet & Chandon. It's been a while since I drank champagne.


The 18 finalist came out for their first cat walk at the runway. With Noryn Aziz singing.


Anyway, next is evening gown by the 18 finalist.


Subsidiary awards. Josh Lim from Advertlets.com on stage to present the best ADV blogger award from the 18 finalist. PS: Josh looked so shinny on stage. Bling Bling.


And the overall winner which met the criteria was Ms Chow Xiang Yee. Congratulations.

this is JoannaBelle Ng Li Vun. She's the Miss Universe Malaysia 2009. Her job is done representing Malaysia and crowned her successor Nadine Ann Thomas.


The winner of Miss Universe Malaysia 2010 is none other than Nadine Ann Thomas. Tears of happiness.


As Andrea Fonseka was the first to stood up and gave a toast to the winner.

Winners of Miss Universe Malaysia 2010

Just got back from Miss Universe Malaysia 2010 Gala Night which happened at Royale Chulan Hotel. The event was very grand and is one of the most grant event I've ever attended. Very nicely done! Kudos to the MUMO team. Well, im here to do some coverage of what's happening there.

The question now is. Who's gonna crown as the Miss Universe Malaysia 2010? Well I'm proud to announce the top 3 winners of Miss Universe Malaysia 2010. Decision is final and confirmed.

• Winner : Nadine Ann Thomas.

• 1st runner up : Mourhrna Anetha.

• 2nd runner up : Vera Hui.

Congratulations to all 3 of them. Mourhrna Anetha, Nadine Ann Thomas and Vera Hui. Mourhrna you're the only one not looking at my camera :(

Miss Universe Malaysia 2010

Miss Universe 2010 will be the the 59th Miss Universe pageant, the venue to be announcement. Stefanía Fernández from Venezuela, Miss Universe 2009, will crown her successor at the end of this event. More than 80 countries and territories will compete for the title and the pageant will broadcast live on NBC and Telemundo. It is a big event indeed where the prettiest and most outstanding lady will represent Malaysia for Miss Universe 2010.



And YES, this is it. The Audition for Miss Universe Malaysia 2010 from Petaling Jaya, Ipoh, Penang and KL is finally OVER. It was yesterday, the final casting of Miss Universe Malaysia happening at Royale Chulan KL. If you weren't there for the Audition, then you must have missed the change to be Malaysia's pageant this year.

Requirements are... Potential beauty queens must be between 18 - 26 years old as at February 1. Minimum height is 162cm (5ft 3in). And be ready to showcase your talents in front of judges that include Andrea Fonseka, Hans Isaac, Phat Fabes & Julia Dolmatova.



As you know that Advertlets.com was the official media partner for Miss Universe Malaysia 2010. So, we get the privilege to become their bloggers to blog about it. Been following them to all the Auditions around Malaysia and pretty much enjoyed the whole thing. Thanks Joshlim for everything.

Honestly, I've spam a lot of photos into my camera. Due to the excessive hot models I've seen so far, I couldn't resist. lol. Dealing with too many photos. So that makes this a short teaser post to summarize everything up with compilation photos I've done. Enjoy!
