Taylor's Lakeside Campus Visitation

I've heard that Taylor's Lakeside Campus is Malaysia's First State-of-the-Art Modern-Tropical University Campus. Thus, im really anxious to see how great it was. So it was their open day last Saturday. I decided to go there for a visit with the partner in crime, Elaine. Yes, construction work is still going on at the moment and set to open on 2010. Which is next year.

A total investment of RM450 million Taylor's Lakeside Campus in early 2007 is indeed an exciting phase in Taylor's 38-year-old history and underscores its continued commitment to self-development. It marks another milestone in Taylor's history where great strides have been made since 1969. Set on 27 acres of tropical greenery near Jalan PJS 7/5, the campus will be surrounded by a revived 5.5 acre man-made lake, as well as a landscape of water plants, trees and flowering shrubs and ground cover.

Cut the crap and lets proceed to the photos part. But before that, thanks to Suetmei for the tour trip around the campus. She's a Taylorian and doing volunteer work for Taylor's. Without her, we are walking without any directions. It's freaking huge and a high possibility you'll get lost in the campus if its your first time there.

Photos taken with my D300s. Prepare to get impress of Taylor's Lakeside Campus.

Damn nice building architecture. Impressive.

Outdoor amphitheater

The academic blocks

This view is taken from Block D. The other side campus is still under construction.

Ladang Lembu. I can smell the cow dunk when I walk pass from block C-D. They needa evacuate those cow's soon. Like seriously.

Lots of parking space no worries of can't find a parking anymore like in SS15. If you can see, there's 2 basketball court, futsal court and badminton or tennis court.

When I walk pass this MAC lab, my Jaw dropped wei. 25 iMac in 1 room and consists of 4 rooms in total. Impressive.

Law moot court competely done.

The view of a Lecture Theatre or Auditorium. Not bad, you can see the lake view and the deck ahead, through the glass walls. Very impressive.

A view of the Multipurpose hall. Seriously huge, can fit up to few thousand people.

There pool table, fustball table, ping pong table, what ever you name it, they have it.

Not to forget, They have kayaking provided as well. LOL. but the man made lake damn dirty.

Again, this MAC Lab makes me wanna change to Taylors already.

Also, their kitchen was really amazing as well by just seeing at the illustration photos. It consist of 14 kitchens and 9 restaurants for the Culinary and Hospitality Students. Can beat KDU College by a mile. No chance given. But too bad it haven completed yet. So, I don't have any photos at all yet from that department.

Anything else, we shall wait for next year! Damn but now, after visiting the Lakeside Campus, I felt like shifting over already wei. You tell me, HOW?!

You tell me now, weather you wanna shift college/uni after reading this post?

Tomorrow I will be going to Putrajaya, Alamanda with the Advertlets bloggers. Don't forget to follow me on Twitter to get updated what am I doing! http://twitter.com/mynjayz
